Probably the most cool and unusual hotel you’re ever going to see is the 727 Fuselage Home in Manual Antonio, Costa Rica.

Offering you two bedrooms, this accommodation isn’t made up of your average bricks and mortar, but of a 1965 Boeing 727 plane which was previously flying through the air for South Africa Air and Avianca Airlines.

Taken piece by piece from it’s San Jose resting place, this plane was transported into the Manuel Antonio jungles on five big rig trucks before being finally being put back together perched on a 50 foot pedestal on the edge of the national park.

Offering spectacular views of the ocean and the jungle from the decking built on the right wing of the plane, this accommodation is just as spectacular inside, using Costa Rican teak panelling throughout and being furnished with hand carved teak furniture from Java, Indonesia.

There are two bedrooms in the plane – one with two queen sized beds and a second with one single queen sized bed.
