New York’s premiere dance music record label, Centaur Entertainment have just released Big Muscle Remixed, the sophomore album from DJ Bill Bennett.

Recently named the #1 leather DJ in North America by Instinct Magazine, Bill Bennett began his career in music back in the early 80s mixing music for his aerobic classes. Since then he has moved from fitness studio to DJ booth bringing along with him a style of music that washes away the self doubt that wraps itself around many of us and gives you a feeling you could be anything… on the dance floor at least.

Starting off with his first nightclub residency at COBALT in Detroit, Bennett would often have lines wrapping round the corner of the building to get in, and he was soon being offered residences at some of the hottest nightclubs across the US including SPLASH in New York and RICH’s in San Diego. After completing his first national club tour Bill was ready to hit the road again, but this time he wasn’t going to be doing it alone, instead partnering up with the popular social networking website BigMuscle.

Combining the tour with the release of his debut album Big Muscle Of The Rhythm, an unmixed promotional album, Bennett quickly became one of the most wanted club and commercial DJs in the country, but Bill wasn’t willing to just carry on doing the same old thing. Studying hard between Dj-ing, Bill has been working in conjunction with one of the original guitarists, Roger Fisher from 80′s band Heart, to refine his production skills, leading to a unique new sound they’ve termed as “Circuit Rock”. And it’s paid off as this has not only lead to a second album but also a partnership with producer Pete Masitti, known for his work with Shakira, The Backstreet Boys, Van Halen and Hootie & the Blowfish.

Featuring some of the biggest names on the dance charts, Big Muscle Remixed has already seen incredible success with the first single Breakaway, which features Inaya Day, being so gorgeously addictive with it’s high octane beat that it was snatched up by SONY/BMG and in the Top 10 of the Billboard Dance charts.

Other notable tracks include Fame featuring Suzanne Palmer, a mix that starts a million miles away from the original track but soon proves Bennett’s talent for making the impossible possible as he blends body pumping dance beat with the classic track; Manhunt, a high tempo track that will definitely get your pulse pumping and you heading to the dance floor with it’s awesome beat and Pepper MaShay vocals and Forever Young featuring Abigail, a slower tempo mix than many on the album but just as addictive.
