Long Beach Pride Parade Gets It’s Very Own Gay Flight Thanks To JetBlue
San Francisco Pride attendees will this year be able to take a very special rainbow-powered flight to their destination, thanks to Long Beach Lesbian and Gay Pride sponsors JetBlue Airways.
Featuring Pam Ann as the flight’s honorary purser, this special #1969 flight will depart from San Francisco International Airport on May 14, 2010, at 12:30 p.m. and touch down at Long Beach Airport at 2 p.m. Guaranteed to be an experience that you’ll never forget, the flight will not only feature pink cocktails, but also gift bags and a range of other goodies. It’s not just about having fun though, there’s also a nod to the start of the pride movement with the flight number which has been chosen to commemorate the 1969 Stonewall Riots.
Priced at $79 for a one way ticket (including taxes and fees) if you want to arrive at San Francisco Pride in style this year then this is the way to do it, however you’ll need to be quick as this is definitely going to the flight to buy on.
To purchase flights, customers must contact JetBlue’s JetPride desk at 888-538-2583 option 4.
