New HOWL Film Clip Starring James Franco Released Prior To Nationwide Release
Following on from it’s limited release in New York and San Francisco last weekend, HOWL starring James Franco and Aaron Tveit is now expanding to Los Angeles, Boston and a number of other great cities across the country.
Seeing James Franco playing the young Allen Ginsberg—poet, counter-culture adventurer, and chronicler of the Beat Generation., it follows him as he recounts the road trips, love affairs, and search for personal liberation that led to the most timeless and electrifying work of his career: the poem HOWL and then the trial of HOWL in the San Francisco courtrooms where Prosecutor Ralph McIntosh (David Strathairn) sets out to prove that the book should be banned, while suave defense attorney Jake Ehrlich (Jon Hamm) argues fervently for freedom of speech and creative expression.
You can check out a clip from HOWL featuring James Franco as famed beat poet Allen Ginsberg discussing first meeting Peter Orlovsky, Ginsberg’s longtime lover, played by Aaron Tveit below and find out more about the film at HOWL the movie.
