Lady Gaga has recorded a special Youtube message to the US Senate and her fellow Americans calling on them to overturn the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy that prevents servicemembers from serving openly in the military.

Part of her ongoing work with the Servicemembers Legal Defense Network at nearly 7 and a half minutes long this isn’t just some small token gesture from Gaga, but shows a real dedication to the cause seeing her not only speaking about the discriminatory nature of the policy, but also focusing on the actions of John McCain to prevent a vote even going ahead.
