Arizona Mayor: Gays Are Limp Wristed And Not Capable Of Being In The Army

Quite what century the politican of Arizona are living in I don’t know, but it’s definitely not 2010, with Arizona Mayor Al Krieger making that plainly obvious on Memorial Day when he didn’t speak out in praise of the troops fighting for his country, but instead acted to criticise allowing gays and lesbians to serve openly in the military, saying, “I cannot believe a bunch of lacey-drawered, limp-wristed people could do what those men have done in the past.”

Given the chance to retract this comments in a latter interview, Krieger however decided that he’d rather not do that, but give his ego a boost by stating he still believed it and believed George Washington and Abraham Lincoln would have said the same thing.

Seriously did I miss the memo that said you had to be a complete and utter idiot to qualify to be a politican in Arizona?
