Court Settlement Means eHarmony Must Allow Gays And Lesbians On Their Dating Site

Keep seeing those eHarmony adverts packed full of heterosexual couples and wondered why there are never any happy gay or lesbian couples featured in them? Well the reason for that is simple (and very discriminatory reason) – eHarmony have up until now not accepted gays and lesbian singles, instead, following a previous lawsuit,  directing the LGBT community to Compatiblepartners.net, an affiliate site.

This is however about to change in the US at least, because last Wednesday (27th January 2010) saw a settlement reached  in California which will see gays and lesbians welcomed to eHarmony, with prominent promotion on the front page. And that’s not all it decided. If you can prove you have been harmed by their previous policy then there’s part of a $2 million settlement fund for gays, lesbians, and bisexuals waiting for you!

So what are you waiting for… now you can get yourself going on that scientifically developed questionnaire that promises to find you those “relationships that last”. Oh and if it works let us know, we’ve not too hot on finding those everlasting relationships…
