Iowa Rep Steve King: Gays Are Discriminated Against Because They Act Gay

Iowa Representative Steve King has revealed the reason why employers discriminate against the gay community, it’s because many of us, just like heterosexuals, wear our sexuality on our sleeves.

Unveiling this obviously well researched and scientific theory whilst having a radio conversation with Family Research Council’s Tony Perkins about about the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), King told of how Iowa State Senator Jerry Behn would ask LGBT activists to guess his sexuality as an example of why his way of thinking is not at all bigoted but totally acceptable.

“And he said, ‘let me ask you a question.’ … ‘Am I heterosexual or am I homosexual?’ And they looked him up and down, actually they should have known, but they said, ‘We don’t know.’ And he said, ‘Exactly, my point. If you don’t project it, if you don’t advertise about it, how would anyone know to discriminate against you?’ And that’s at the basis of this. So if people wear their sexuality on their sleeve, and then they want to bring litigation against someone that they would point their finger at and say, ‘You discriminate.’ It is an entrapment….it is a violation of the individual right of employers… this is the homosexual activist lobby taking it out on the rest of society and they are demanding affirmation for their lifestyle, that’s at the bottom of this.”

Right, well here’s a deal, we’ll all go around pretending we are as a homosexual group are not, if you Mr King go around not wearing your heterosexuality on your sleeve and instead act 100% gay. Deal?

No thought maybe not.
