10 Coming Out Stories That Didn’t End Up Going Quite As Planned
Coming out isn’t easy to do. In fact it’s probably one of the hardest things that you’ll ever do in your life. And it’s for that reason that most of us spend weeks, months, sometimes even years planning to try and get it just right.
However, as these ten coming out from FMYLife.com prove, sometimes a little thing called life gets in the way and royally mucks it all up. Some are going to put a smile on your fave, some will make you feel downright fed up with the world and highlight that things won’t, as much as we’d like otherwise, always go to plan.
So if you are planning to come out to family or friends soon make sure you’re prepared that things might not straight away go as planned, and if they don’t that you’ve got someone / somewhere to go and get the support you need, whether that be other friends or even online.

Today, my neighbor confessed to me that he was homophobic and regrets that his family doesnt know it. He spent fifteen minutes explaining how much he would hate to have a gay child. I spent two hours last night convincing his son that it was the right thing to tell his family he was gay. FML
